Sponsorship

ISME is happy to sponsor your event in Microbial Ecology such as Symposia, Workshops and Meetings

If you are interested in an ISME Sponsorship, you can write a Proposal to the ISME Office that includes:

1) a full description of your event 

2) the scientific merit

3) what will the requested funding be used for (preferably used for travel reimbursements of speakers/students)

4) your contact details

The Treasurer of ISME will then take your proposal in consideration and will answer, after consulting the Executive Board of ISME, before the end of the same year.

Please note that ISME only sponsors in uneven years; the years that there are no ISME Symposia!
That means we can sponsor your event in 2011, 2013 and 2015, 2017 etc.

If your event takes place in the year 2013, the Sponsorship Proposal Deadline is October 11th 2012
EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 1ST 2012

If your event takes place in the year 2015, the Sponsorship Proposal Deadline is October 11th 2014

If your event takes place in the year 2017, the sponsorsip proposal deadline is October 11th 2016

In return ISME asks that its society logo will be placed on your events website, in the program book and other means of event communications.

Please consider our requirements carefully before applying the proposal:

When ISME decided to sponsor your event we require a written report about the event (within 2 months after the event has taken place) along with a few pictures so we can place this on our website. This report should also contain a clear overview and information on what exactly has been done with the sponsorship funds made possible by ISME. Only when the report is received we will transfer the funds.
